1. What programs do you offer?
We offer 4 programs at the Academy of Hair Design: Cosmetology, Barbering, Esthetics, and Manicuring!
2. How long does each program take?
- Our cosmetology program takes 10 ½ months to complete (1500 hours)
- Our barber program takes 7 months to complete (1000 hours)
- Our esthetician program takes 5 ½ months to complete (750 hours)
- Our manicuring program takes 4 ½ months to complete (600 hours)
3. Is financial aid available?
Yes! As a fully accredited school we offer financial aid options. To apply, visit studentaid.gov and enter our school code: 040375 when filling out the FAFSA.
4. How much does beauty school cost?
- Cosmetology school costs $17,950
- Barber school costs $14,950
- Esthetics school costs $10,950
- Manicuring costs $8,250
5. Do you offer help with job placement?
We know that finding a job in the beauty industry is the most important piece for students when they choose this field for a career. We offer many professional development opportunities with guest speakers such as salon professionals explaining the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, resume building, practice interviews with former alumni, and mock board training to make sure you ace your state board exam after graduation! 75% of our students land jobs in the beauty industry after graduation.
6. What sets the Academy of Hair Design apart?
Our educators and staff are our strength as a school. You’ll receive hands-on training in all 4 of our programs. Our school performs 2,000 beauty services per month, so there’s never a dull moment! You’ll have additional opportunities to further your education through leadership training, business skills, and marketing/social media classes!
